Those QPR fans that made the 162-mile trip to Stoke leave disappointed, and Rangers are still yet to pick up a point on the road this season. That's all from us, thanks for following the live blog. See you next week!
Walters has the match ball in his hands. It's his first hat-trick for Stoke, and he will deservedly take the plaudits. At times in the second half, QPR came close to an equaliser, but in the end Stoke leave the Britannia with all three points.
Stoke win it. Walters' first hat-trick for Stoke City ensures a 3-1 home victory.
91 Stoke do eventually take that free-kick on the halfway line. Barton clears the initial ball, but it doesn't go far and Walters is there to head it into the back of the net. A perfect hat-trick for the Stoke man... left foot, right foot, head.
92 GOAL! Walters makes it 3-1 to Stoke!
91 Stoke win a free-kick on the halfway line, and are in no hurry to take it at all.
90 Four minutes of added time are signalled by the fourth official. If QPR want a point, it's going to have to come soon. Time is running out.
89 It's that man Zamora again. Barton whips it in, but the QPR substitute cannot get a clean connection on the ball and Stoke clear from danger.
88 Zamora was lurking in the centre as Dunne whipped the ball in, but a defensive header knocks it away. QPR have a corner.
88 Time is running out for the away side. They come forward again but twice the ball is cleared by the Stoke defence. It's just not happening for QPR.
86 CHANCE: Fer drives in a free-kick from about 30 yards out. It's swerving but Begovic sees it all the way and parries the ball away from danger.
85 Walters picks up a yellow card for a foul on Hoilett.
84 Redknapp barking instructions from the edge of his technical area. The table looks grim for QPR if the score remains the same - they'll stay in the relegation zone.
83 Zamora picks the ball up in the Stoke half and holds it up while team-mates arrive on the scene. A poor pass ensues and Stoke win back possession. Wasteful from a side desperate for a late goal.
81 Adam steams through Barton and gives away a free-kick on the right-hand side. Isla whips it in, finding Dunne at the back post. His header is wide of the mark, though.
80 Austin has been taken to the side of the pitch with a head injury. There is blood pouring from a cut above his eye, and Rangers will have to cope with 10 men for the time being.
78 QPR are ramping up the pressure here. The pace has intensified and it is set up for an interesting last 10 minutes or so.
77 CHANCE! Barton slams the free-kick against the underside of the bar. A golden opportunity for Rangers, but it's scrambled away from danger and Stoke maintain their slender lead.
76 Barton draws a foul in a dangerous area. Muniesa is the guilty party, but the free-kick looks soft. A real opportunity for the visitors here.
75 A left-back change for QPR. Hill off, Yun on. His first game of 2015 after injury.
73 Moses lunges in to a challenge on Dunne, and looks to have hurt himself in the process. He's already on a yellow, and can count himself lucky he's not received further punishment after that.
72 Ireland makes way, and he takes a deserved round of applause from the crowd. Charlie Adam comes on.
71 It's all quietened down a little bit. QPR are trying to find a way through, but the Stoke defence has stayed strong so far. Just under 20 minutes of normal time remaining.
69 Hoilett comes on for Kranjcar, who will be happy with his afternoon's work.
68 Barton is booked for the fifth game in a row. Not so much the foul itself, but an accumulation over the course of the afternoon.
67 N'Zonzi breaks through the midfield and is given space to run into. Seeing the opportunity, he shoots towards goal, but it's simple for Begovic, who scoops it up.
66 Stoke come forward again through Ireland, but a sloppy pass gifts QPR the ball. Vargas lofts it through to Zamora, but he can't bring it down and it's out for a Stoke throw.
64 And here he is. Arnautovic makes way, and Crouch comes on to face a team - and manager - he knows very well.
62 Peter Crouch is up off the Stoke bench and warming up. Looks as though his arrival could be imminent. A goal from him against his old club would surely put the game beyond doubt.
60 Half an hour to go and Rangers seem to be growing into the game; Vargas' chance by far the best of the half.
59 Moses is booked for simulation after falling to the floor in the QPR half.
58 CHANCE! The free-kick is hit low and hard towards Vargas, who flicks the ball up with his first touch and tries an acrobatic volley with his second. It's a good save from Begovic, who beats it away.
57 QPR have a free-kick 35 yards out, and Fer looks like he wants it. The wind very much in Rangers' favour.
55 End-to-end stuff at the Britannia. When a Stoke attack breaks down, QPR look to push forward and create a chance of their own. Goalscorer Kranjcar is the man to bring it forward this time, but a lack of team-mates thwarts the attack.
53 Moses instead tees it up for Bardsley, and his shot is a venomous one. It is always rising though, and flies just over Green's crossbar.
52 A high foot from Fer gifts Stoke a free-kick in a dangerous position, just right of centre. Moses is standing over it.
51 Vargas with a snap-shot for Rangers. He picks the ball up on the right-hand side and lashes a shot towards goal. It doesn't trouble Begovic and ends up in the stand behind the Stoke goal.
50 Moses has been really impressive throughout this match. He once again breaks down the left, and is causing real problems for the QPR defence - Clint Hill in particular.
49 Stoke win a free-kick in the middle of the park. Moses whips it in, but QPR are able to clear with relative ease.
47 The home side immediately come forward from their goal-kick, with Arnautovic looking for a way through. He's crowded out by three Stoke men and the danger is averted.
46 An early cross from Barton, but he floats it too long at the back-post, and it's out for a Stoke goal-kick.
45 And we're underway in the second half at the Britannia Stadium. It's all set up for a cracker. Stoke lead 2-1.
Karl Henry has made way for QPR. Bobby Zamora comes on as the visitors look to get something from this game.
And here they are. The visitors are back out for the second half. Rangers look to be making a change at the break.
Stoke are back out and ready for the second half to begin. QPR players nowhere to be seen.
QPR were 40-1 to turn things around after Walters' second, but SkyBet are offering 16-1 now if you fancy a comeback from Harry Redknapp's side.
Worth reminding you that QPR are still yet to win a single point on the road this season. 162 miles is the distance Rangers fans have travelled today, and they'll be looking for a big second-half performance from their side.
It's all set up for a cracking second half at the Britannia. It looked a nailed-on three points for Stoke after two goals from Walters, but Kranjcar's immediate response has given Rangers a glimmer of hope.
And that is half-time. It is 2-1 to Stoke and I think we could have an interesting second half ahead.
47 Moses with a cross into the box, but Walters can't get a clean head to it and Barton eventually clears.
