Wolverhampton 20:20 Racecard and Betting Preview

Most Popular Bets

Sporting Life Preview

Wahgah dotted up at Kempton last month but has been raised 15lb for his trouble while stablemate Night Party goes handicapping for the first time after landing a maiden race over a mile at Beverley. Spiritual Star returned to winning ways over a shorter trip at Kempton last time but HALATION looks worth a try over middle-distances. The Sandown winner was beaten in a higher grade last time and is preferred to Tinghir, who also drops back down in class for this.

Oddschecker Verdict

WAHGAH won by six lengths over 1m2f at Kempton last time and is worth keeping onside, despite a 15lb rise, as he seems a much stronger proposition on the all-weather relative to turf. Stablemate Night Party is worth a market check now returning from a 149-day break as she's making only her fourth career start and looks on a workable rating. This stiffer test could unlock some more improvement out of Halation, who has progressed well over a mile on turf this season.

Prediction: 1st Wahgah, 2nd Night Party, 3rd Halation
