Sedgefield 14:50 Racecard and Betting Preview

Sporting Life Preview

Rocky Two will do better when tackling handicaps while Jimmy Shan was scheduled to make his reappearance at Southwell yesterday so this should involve the three previous winners. LAMOOL looks the best of them having won at Aintree and Newton Abbot before placing in a decent handicap at the west country track last time. Are They Your Own seems better over shorter trips but Dire Straits is proving tough and durable and does have form over the distance.

Oddschecker Verdict

It is tough to look beyond LAMOOL after he finished third in a significantly stronger handicap at Newton Abbot. Are They Your Own has 9lb to find with him on official figures and needs to bounce back to the form he showed when winning at Uttoxeter in July. Dire Straits steps up in trip after getting his head back in front at Market Rasen and completes the shortlist.

Prediction: 1st Lamool, 2nd Dire Straits, 3rd Are They Your Own
